As you glide past the most beautiful artworks, you can savor three different Dutch cheeses provided by Kaasbar Amsterdam. Each cheese is paired with a specific wine carefully selected by the wine supplier Grapedistrict.

Culinary discovery during the Light Festival: Cheese and Wine tasting on the canals
At Amsterdam Circle Line’s Cheese and Wine Tasting, enjoy a delightful and flavorful evening on the water. Our friendly skipper and welcoming host will greet you aboard and ensure that you and your party have an unforgettable experience. We recommend arriving 30 to 15 minutes before the cruise. Whether you’re spending a romantic evening with your partner or having a fun time with friends, this boat tour promises to be a memorable night.
The cheeses for the evening are carefully selected and provided by Kaasbar Amsterdam, founded by the son of the Netherlands’ largest cheese supplier. Perfectly aged cheeses with unique flavor profiles, sourced from Dutch farms, are paired with exquisite wines that complement the flavors. The wines are purchased directly from small producers through Grapedistrict. These wines are produced without pesticides or other chemicals, offering the purest and most authentic taste. Each cheese is paired with a specific wine, but during the cruise, you can order any wine unlimitedly. Our host will ensure you are well taken care of throughout the journey.

Amsterdam Light Festival: the route
For years, we have been cruising through the capital even in winter, knowing exactly how to provide you with an unforgettable evening. During this Amsterdam Circle Line cruise, you’ll enjoy comfort with delicious cheeses and wines on the table. Meanwhile, our experienced local skipper will guide you past the most beautiful artworks that illuminate the Amsterdam canals.
During the Amsterdam Light Festival, artists transform the city and its canals with enchanting light installations. Central Station is an ideal starting point, whether you are already in the city or arriving by train for a delightful evening (see the map). Our boats are preheated for your comfort, and we also have a rear deck where you can enjoy the artworks in the fresh air. After approximately 75 minutes of cruising through the wintry, illuminated Amsterdam, you will be returned to the starting point. From there, you can continue to explore Amsterdam and enjoy your time in the city worry-free!
