What is Amsterdam Light Festival?

Amsterdam Light Festival is an art festival featuring unique light art that you can experience every year by boat, bicycle, or on foot. The organization’s mission is “to use the universal language of light art in public spaces to connect and enrich people.”

The theme of the fourteenth edition of the art festival is Legacy. How do we want to be remembered? Twenty light artworks by international artists show what we preserve and leave behind. FAQs

On busy days and during the weekend, especially during the Christmas holidays, the cruise may run late. Please take this into account if you have any reservations after the cruise.

We recommend arriving at the pick-up location 15 minutes in advance. If it is a rainy day, it is advisable to bring an umbrella as the pick-up location is not covered.

We have a small selection of snacks for sale on board, such as nuts and chips.

To board, you have to climb a few steps. Therefore, it can be difficult for people with reduced mobility to board.
