Unforgettable experience of the Light Festival: Departure from Central Station
Central Station is an ideal departure point, whether you are already staying in the city or arriving by train for a pleasant evening. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes in advance, as it can be very crowded during the Amsterdam Light Festival.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed on board by our skipper. Our boats are pre-heated, so you can sit comfortably inside. There is also the aft deck, which allows you to enjoy the works of art outdoors. During the cruise, beer, wine and soft drinks are included, and our host on board makes sure everyone is provided with drinks. After the canal cruise, you’ll disembark back at Central Station, ready to explore Amsterdam further and enjoy your time in the city to the fullest!

Amsterdam Light Festival: the route
For years, we have been sailing through the capital during the winter winter and we know exactly how to give you an unforgettable evening. On an Amsterdam Circle Line boat, you will enjoy the artworks in comfort with a drink in your hands. Our experienced local skipper cannot wait to lead you past the most beautiful works of art illuminating Amsterdam’s canals.
During the Amsterdam Light Festival, artists transform the city and canals with enchanting light installations. The canal cruise departs from Central Station (view map). After 75 minutes of sailing through winter-lit Amsterdam, you will be dropped off at the starting point.
From 30 November 2024 to 19 January 2025, you can admire the magnificent light artworks that adorn the city: on bridges, along the canals and in the water. A boat trip offers the ideal way to experience this spectacular event. Make sure not to miss this special edition and experience the magic of the Amsterdam Light Festival!
